Let’s talk about our thoughts

The Scripture teaches us a lot about our thoughts. In 2 Corinthians we read that we have to take “every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Cor 10:5).

This verse tells us that this is spiritual warfare and it is able to set up strongholds in our minds. Let that sink in for a minute. I, for one, don’t want to believe lies that the devil was able to sneak into my thinking. How about you?

In 2017, I was at an EPIC (Entrepreneurial People In Christ) conference. When Erica was speaking, she shared a dream that has a lasting impact on me even until today. Her dream went like this: she saw God and angels, who were talking about her while seeing in her heart, including her thoughts and her dreams. God was directing the angels, saying: “See, it’s in her heart! Go accomplish it!” So the outcome of her life depended on what she allowed in her heart.

In Proverbs, we read: “Keep thy heart with all diligence for from it flow the issues of life” (Prov 4:23).

After hearing her story, I had a key made with the word “dream” on it.

Behold, I have given you the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

(Matt 16:19)

I wear that key on my necklace. Hardly a day goes by that I fail to remember those verses.

Let me ask you this: when you think about Global Marketplace Ministries, what do you envision?

I can tell you what I think. I think there is going to be an army of believers on social media, witnessing and spreading out like leaven in the dough. I can see prayer happening in supermarkets and office buildings. Everywhere people are gathered. I can see hundreds of Marketplace ministers making enough income to do whatever they desire with their lives because now money is no longer a problem.

What do you see?
